IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Immediately after the events of the HBO series Watchmen s1 finale, "See How They Fly."
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Laurie is 5'9", which is tall for a lady, and slim. She dresses mostly in dark and neutral colors, exclusively wears pants (no skirts or dresses here) and is almost always pretty well covered up (long sleeves, no low necklines). Her hair is shoulder-length, a nice shade of auburn, and is usually curled just enough to show she gives a damn but not anything remotely fancy. She smells nice; her perfume is a very subtle, definitely unisex woodsy-earthy scent. She wears natural makeup and looks put-together but also like she could literally kick your ass. Which she can (and will, if necessary).
•DEMEANOR: A first impression will find Laurie rather intimidating and that isn't necessarily incorrect. She has a lot of very obvious walls up, she is difficult to read from the outside and the fact that she doesn't seem to take much of anything seriously doesn't help with that. Humor is her favorite defense mechanism and she can be quite funny and quick-witted, but pure and honest cynicism is her default in almost any situation. She is Fully Over It. Nothing fazes her; she's seen a lot of weird shit in her time. She's fairly chill, almost too chill.
•ABILITIES: No magical powers or abilities, but she does have a razor-sharp wit and can fire a gun like nobody's business.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: She's actually pretty remarkably healthy for a gal her age.
•CABIN INFORMATION: The door to Laurie's cabin is nothing remarkable. It's a door. It looks like in belongs in a modern twenty-first century apartment building, because her cabin is a replica of her most recent apartment, which is a nice but modest modern twenty-first century one-bedroom unit. It is tastefully but minimally decorated. One large piece of memorabilia hangs on the living room wall, a colorful pop-art style print featuring a young Laurie in her vigilante days, two masked men and one blue dude. Also of note is a bird cage covered with a dark piece of fabric, though upon further inspection the cage will be found empty. (Likely remedied later.)
